Painel RBS
The organization of a panel featuring the then Ministry of Health José Gomes Temporão on March 30, 2010, marked the launch of the second stage of Grupo RBS "Crack, Nem Pensar" institutional campaign. The event was opened by the company CEO Nelson Sirotsky and was attended by authorities, experts and guests. Ddespite the fact that it was held in Porto Alegre, the panel was broadcast simultaneously by TV stations in the 18 regions Grupo RBS is present, allowing for significant integration with the communities. In each of the cities, authorities, experts and guests were able to watch and take part in a discussion of such vital importance to society.

The mobilization and expansion of the discussion about the evolution of crack and as well as other drugs have evolved into an important contribution by Grupo RBS to society as a whole, as well as to the Government - on its various levels - in order to collaborate in the implementation of suitable public policies to prevent and fight drug addiction in this State and the rest of the country. The actions performed by the company have sought to promote discussion about prevention and awareness raising, repression and suitable laws, treatment and a definitive solution for the issue.
Other topics are focused on by Grupo RBS, especially by means of editorial content which is planned and disseminated in its different media vehicles. The printed stories sometimes reflect the demands from communities seeking an efficient communication channel to defend their interests, other times they warn and educate people about public issues of interest to everyone. Vaccination Guide
The newspaper Zero Hora published a vaccination guide in its Caderno Vida with information about the disease, number of doses and when they must be given, mandatory vaccination calendar, which vaccines were available at public healthcare facilities and the amounts charged by private clinics. The aim was to provide a service to community as a whole to educate and dispel myths about the topic. |
